Lyudmila Borisovna Narusova ((ロシア語:Людми́ла Бори́совна На́русова), born 2 May 1951) is a Russian politician, a former member of the Federation Council of Russia, representing Tyva Republic and Bryansk Oblast.
==History scholar==
Lyudmila Narusova was born in Bryansk, USSR. Her father, Borish Narusovich, was Jewish.〔(Ksenia Sobchak described her Jewish roots ) by Elmira BALAHCHEEVA, May 14, 2013, Express Gazeta〕〔(Secular Jewish question and "The Great Gatsby" ) RIA Novosti 17.05.2013〕 In 1969-1974 she studied history in Saint Petersburg State University. Then, in 1977-1980 she studied history at the graduate school of the Institute of History of the USSR Academy of Sciences and worked at Saint Petersburg State University. In 1980 she married Anatoly Sobchak. After obtaining Ph.D. in History ((ロシア語:кандидат наук)), she taught history at the St. Petersburg Academy of Culture.
